RE: What music are you listening to right now?

It's called "I've got a rock and roll heart". I believe it was off of money and cigarettes, one of claptons many forgetable albums from the 70's.

Paranoid (Live), Black Sabbath.

Best part is when Ozzy yells at the crowd to, well, put more fortitude into their shouts. That's the only way I can put it without getting a chat with one of the mods.

I have every album clapton ever made, and just never got into much of the 70's stuff.  His first solo album is great, but after that, you have a gem here and there and the rest is filler.  If you like great workout music, check out the box set for Layla.  They have one full disc that is nothing but the guys sitting around jamming.  There's also a greatest hits set called the "Cream of clapton" I believe that has extended jam tacks of "tell the truth" and "spoonfull", each about 10-15 minutes long.  Also very good.

If you want something interesting, take that CD collection of yours and then get Clapton's two sets of Johnson tributes and record them back to back.  RJ doing "hellhound", then clapton.  RJ does "sweet home chicago", then EC's.  It's an interesting comparison.
