College football thread?
Why not? Let's keep it going! Iowa is in deep doo-doo. Stanzi just threw pick #5 and if not for a horrible replay overturn they would be down by 14 to Indiana. The Big Ten might be about to see it's only national championship contender get knocked off.
It's been over fifty years Mr. Layne. Feel free to remove that curse any time now...

Perhaps Iowa is a team of destiny...

When are people gonna learn not to count out Iowa just because they 3 quarters poorly. As soon as that clock starts in the 4th quarter their a different ball club.
The wind in that game was huge. Stanzi throws 4 INTs in the 3rd quarter against the wind and then throws for 177 yards and 2 TDs in the 4th quarter with the wind.
JUST WIN BABY!!!

The way I see it is you turn the ball over 6 times (plus a 9 yard punt that's practically a turnover) and you still win by 18 points. Takes a near perfect game otherwise to win that game.

The Sash interception for a TD and the questionable overturn of the Indiana TD (followed by the missed field goal) changed the game.

I think those questionable calls really got to indy and they lost their intensity. They didn't look like the same team early in the game. We'll see how it turns out as the season is over.

The weak ass fumble with :30 to go in the first half that gave them the ball inside the 10 changed the game as well. Or the 9 yard punt that gave them the ball inside the 40. Iowa made a few retarded unforced errors in that game and overcame it. I'd like to see any other team overcome all the screwups.

But on the flip side. How many times did Iowa's WRs get themselves wide open for an easy TD but the ball was just killed by the wind and ended up 10 yards short of where it normally would of been. I counted 3 times that resulted in INTs that should of been easy TDs on a calmer day.

I still don't get why Georgia agrees to play this game in Jacksonville every year.

Stafford made the right decision to leave Georgia... They suck!
