Yup good news. Now it's time to focus really on our depth in places.

These 2 additional 4th round picks will be tremendously valuable.

Basically at this point we are truly going to draft the most talented guy there (or trade down, which might be the best option). He is a stopgap, but not a bad one to have and knows the D from Austin already.

This might be a stupid question(not my first and won't be my last ) but is there a chance that we still add another S like Clemons?

I know money's tight but it would not kill us to go into the season with more than 2 serviceable safeties. I assume we'll draft someone....idk.

Good signing to fill a gaping hole anyway.
any attempt to impersonate an actual scout in the above post has been done poorly, and should not be taken seriously by anyone

Not a stupid question, but I doubt the Lions would add him at this point.

Slide Ihedigbo to SS, kick Quin over to FS. Carey remains the 3rd Safety anyway with continued spot duty at Nickle. Then there's also the possibility that they could use a mid-round pick on another and groom him as a starter in a couple of years.

Glad to hear this.

Happy we are not counting on rookies to be starters

Still hope we take a S in the draft in the mid rounds because we need to be grooming a future starter there.

Means Ha Ha is not the #10 pick.

Well said Sporty. Lions definitely aligning themselves to go PURE BPA this draft. Haha.

Expect Mayhew and company to do well.

I would expect some improvement from our secondary. The arrow is pointing up.

Stop gap? Come on, solid player who had to fight for everything in his career, type of guy I root for. Welcome to detroit.

Yes it does............He was not worth the 10# pick IMO.........Hopefully the M.Evans is there at #10 and the Lions actually take him. The Ebron talk worry's me.

Gilbert Or Barr for sure now. Matthews in the 2nd round is just as good if not better than Evans.

Yea, I never thought Ha Ha was the pick but now we can eliminate him from the debate

I love the fact that we have signed TWO guys that have been on Super Bowl Winning teams.

We not only get their talent but we get their winning mindset and ability to talk to the guys on our team about what it took to get there
