My congradulations to Bakersfield for winning the championship. However, if you are going to educate everyone about the Bakersfield way, also inform us that Bakersfield is in the middle of no where with more high schools than any place in the state to draw from. As for community college, people are paying money to attend these schools, if the locals are not able to get classes because of outsiders, then legislate changes. Community college is first and foremost about plan A, Education.Understand this, by nature, football on the college level can be construed as unfair. Unhappy D-1 players returning to community college because they were unhappy. Players from out of the area playing in front of locals. I have nothing but respect for the Bakersfield's, SFCC...ect because the coaches have guided these young men and prepared them for the next level. As a parent, I want to see Johnny play, but keep in mind, this is a business. Those scholarships, are not given, they are earned.

You never made a point............. just kinda rambled on !!! How many high schools in Fresno ??? How many high schools in the Sacramento area ??? One JC in Fresno..... what 2 in Sacramento ???
Bakersfield is 90 miles south of Fresno....... 110 milles north of L.A. so, now what ???? Oh, and just north of Ventura and Santa Barbara.............Sacramento is a large area compared to Bakersfield............. so, who does Sac City compete with for their players ??? CCSF ? they are about the same distance that seperates Bakersfield and L.A....................

You said that I rambled. The two questions that I asked were in English. You answered one and side stepped the other. Let me make it plain for you. Bakersfield has double digit high schools, one JC and no other colleges around. You brag about all of the kids are from Bakersfield except for the Texas and Carolina kids. A good coach and a good program should keep the local kids in Bakersfield. This is not knock on the program, just some information regarding a unique situation in Bakersfield that you refuse to acknowledge. Once again, how many** high schools are in Bakersfield?** Put it in print, and the rest is mute.
