Cal JC 2012 Semi-Finals: ARC at CCSF and Bakersfield at Mt.SAC

Two exceptional match-ups Nov 24th will produce the Championship Game finalists for the December 8th big event, this year played at the SoCal site.  For sure, we all want to see packed stadiums and good media coverage, but that takes a lot of effort and participation.

How do you feel about the upcoming games?

Played AR already and must say they are not impressive? That game ( COS) will show you if you allow the front 4 to dominate and lock in on Booker. And have just 1solid DB to lock down the kid (with the insane speed) that is their primary stretch the field player. They are beatable! COS had them down 27-7 ( they finally earned 7) with 1:48 left on the clock.

COS did not adjust well, they (AR) did not beat COS!

COS BEAT THEMSELVES!

CCSF is a beast in ALL areas! You have to play hard ALL 4 qrtrs, mistake free, scoring points ( 3 or 7) to keep up every time you touch the ball ( offensively)!

The other 2 teams Bako, Mt Sac?

CCSF did not dominate their way thru the schedule. They beat DVC in OT after being down 41-27 in the 4th qtr. They beat Fresno by 4 with a (literally) last second play. They pulled out a win at De Anza after being tied at 39 with 7 minutes left. And they beat CSM with a score in the final minute.

So do good teams find a way to win? Or is only ARC judged by their come form behind victories?

COS LOST! ARC best them regardless of how you rationalize it.

Keep in mind that CCSF gave up 400 yds rushing in their loss to Butte. ARC had 500 total yds of offense and 28 first downs vs CCSF in the first game. They rushed for 275 yrs and the stats for the two teams were nearly identical. ARC lost that game on 5 turnovers and 15 penalties. They have to manage the game better. They do that and get a few stops and they win. ARC is very good on the OL. It will be a good battle up front.

ohlord Tulare having something negative to say about ARC is about as surprising as the sky being blue or the grass being green.  Dude, let go of the hatred it's eating you up inside.  Besides, you're opinion of ARC is so incredibly biased that I can't take your perspective seriously.

Here's the deal - even I can admit CCSF is a better team, and until ARC can play a penalty reduced game (and with the Beavers, that's a lot to ask!)  they don't stand even a remote chance in hell.

No woofing, just go in there with one helluva a focus and play mistake free and low penalty ball.

ARC's star RBI Devontae Booker has declared for Utah, this should be a great fit for all concerned.
(as reported in today's Deseret News).
