There are a quite a few really talented prospects coming out of NorCal. QB: Quinn Kaehler - DVC RB: Devontae Booker - American River DB: Darvin McCauley - CCSF DB: Nate Jackson - CSM S: Matt Vinal - CSM S: David Guthrie - Siskiyous WR: Diante Jackson - DVC WR: Andre Lewis - DVC WR: Dezmon Epps CCSF WR: Vince Mayle - Sierra WR: Xavier Milton - Laney DE: Damian Borel - Butte DE: Chris Martin - CCSF DE: Lyman Faoliu- CSM LB: Sione Sina - CSM LB: Tyrone Ward - CCSF LB: Samson Faifili - American River ATH: De'Maria Nelson - Delta I know I am missing some but thats a pretty good list of players that I not only think are top prospects , but whom I believe will be on a Division 1 roster next year (some have already pledged to do so). JC football in NorCal and California in general is plagued with talent.

A few suggestions to include as top prospects:
Butte: DB Tevin Ivy, RBs Cameron Mikell and Derek Soward, TE Geoff Swaim
Laney: WR Aaron George ( and future star QB Charles Cobbs)
DeAnza: DT Matt Turituri, DB Sh'quil Green, QB Josh McCain, P/K Trevor Pardula
CSM: QB Jon Willis, WRs Aaron Criswell, WBs Quincy Nelson, Levi Wilson, Kenya Price
Siskiyous: WR Xzavious Harrison, RB Christian Reyes
Delta: QB Sam Hutsell, WR Jack Killian
Chabot: QB Brandyn Eckhardt, RB Asanti McCrae
DVC: RB C.J. Best, WR Cameron Rowland
Modesto: QB TeeJay Gordon
CCSF: P/K Sam Irwin Hill, S Broughan Jantz, RB Kris Oglubode, DT LaRyan King, WRs Kyani Harris, J.J. Hudson, Drake Whitehurst

in the years since JC players have been de-emphasized, the program has crashed --how ( and why) did this happen?
do you think strong and upcoming programs like San Jose St. will provide opportunities for JC players?

Right on Glenn................. the Bears transformed their program thru the JC ranks in the past and have gone down hill recently w/o the JC players...........

Harmyk QB from Mendocino (hes a freshman) K. Brown LB from Redwoods also a freshman. RBs Juan Johnson from Yuba powerhouse back, and Rashad Hall from Contra Costa, hes decommitted from Colorado WRs Terrence Polk from LMC committed to Hawaii, Dhuveyter (spell check) from Mendo leads the state in yards per game, Diante Jackson from DVC only eligible for 1 year Division 1 but definitely still a prospect, Andre Lewis from DVC committed to Utah Ronald Butler from Contra Costa also a playmaker. OL Desmond Harisson & Damien Parris from Contra Costa are high profile prospects. DL Bowers from Mendocino Sack master, D. Cherry from Contra Costa high quality prospect, as well as aaron norton-buford from CCC and nose tackle mike douglas. at LB M. Todd from Monterey is definitely a high profile MLB leads state in tackles per game 3rd in tackles even after missing 2 games, k. brown from redwoods as well as eriquel florence from contra costa high quality prospect as well. Corners that are impresive are Damon Collins from DVC and Tyran Finley, and Ransom Cook from CCC. At safety Anthony Beavers from CCC and #3 from Montereylook real nice. OUT OF SOUTH DIVISION cant forget aubrey reed from COR & Mike Behr QB from LMC as well.
