CONTRA COSTA VS REDWOOD
This is in response to the coment Contra Costa only beat Redwood by one point. The natural grass field was a mess. It was like running in mud. Any team would have trouble on turf like that. If you want a team ranked high, just win baby.......

DVC is a better team then DeAnza. Contra costa may have a better record than DVC however they should never be ranked higher.

An excuse for playing on grass? What is the world coming to? Then a quote from Al Davis? Give me a break. DVC would thrash CCC. Furthermore, I doubt CCC pulls it off against LMC....just win baby...with all those out of staters in Richmond.....nice.

CCC beat De anza earlier in the year (nor cal team). A win is a win over redwoods conference games are always ugly

WE, as in Contra Costa played not to lose. The field was muddy, yes we won by 1. We didn't start our starters, and they barely played. No excuses a win is a win, De Anza is a WAYY better team than DVC, the record shows it. They've only lost to City and CCC. As far as the "out of staters" in Richmond goes, step your recruiting game up!!! See you guys back here on Saturday after the LMC game.

the stats for that particular game show differently. looks like your regulars, at least in the key positions, played most of the game. was the field at Mendo muddy also? no excuses?

Not saying they woulda made a difference in final outcome though. because the players who took over those spots did an outstanding job of stepping up to the task. |

Redwoods Receivers killed CCC dbs all game long..CCC only won because redwoods couldnt keep their composure on the sidelines
