Re: Riverside duo haul in new offers
Maybe I am wrong about RCC in 2012. It looks like they have some talent coming back this year.

Mountieman where are your top prospects?????
Yes, it's amazing the amount of attention that the school and players have been getting in pre-season. Where are all the top prospects from Mount Sac?

Amazing? Not really. They're 21-1 over the past two seasons. They should be receiving a ton of attention. Mountieman is not here. If you want to fight with him, I can tell you where to find him. --------------------------------------------- --- craftsman2 wrote: Yes, it's amazing the amount of attention that the school and players have been getting in pre-season. --------------------------------------------- I know where he's at. He wasn't banned here. I'm not going there. But anyways, 21-1 record was last year. We have a new crop of players and everyone is thinking that RCC won't be as good because all the sophomores that left last year. The many articles and offers getting posted are an indication of what the program will look like this year.

I don't think we'll see a huge fall-off. Undefeated may be hard to replicate, but it could happen. My point is that success breeds success. I think that any team that goes 21-1 should be able to reload. MSAC and CCSF have been building on their success for years. Once that train starts rolling, it's hard to stop it. The future success of the Riverside football program will be built on the foundation of the 2010 and 2011 teams. Nobody wants to be the one to give up the winning streak. --------------------------------------------- --- craftsman2 wrote: junglejim wrote: Amazing? Not really. --------------------------------------------- Very true about success bring success and I didn't want to seem like I'm dissing our 2011 team; just trying to make a point that this year will be more of the same, for those who think RCC won't be as good. . If I were an opposing QB and saw Tuaau, Fenumiai and Fusi coming at me, I'd be thinking of getting rid of that ball ASAP. It would be great if the TIgers could put a defense like last year's on the field. I expect more of what we saw last year on that side of the ball. On offense, they'll be replacing their entire passing game, with all new receivers and a new QB. WIll be interesting to see how the chemistry develops. At RB, EJ Shaxneyder will return, but Damian Robinson will be hard to replace, as will Andre Hunt. They were as good a stable of running backs as you are going to see on one JC football team.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bX6wbDDznrI Actually, Jamil played early in the season, even scoring a 1-yard TD against MSAC that put the Tigers up 14-12 in the 3rd quarter. I wonder if he got a medical redshirt for last season?

Mount sac was prob. the last game he played. He played 3 games last year. He put out these numbers in 10 carries: Austin, Jamil 3 10 42 1 41 4.1 2 9 13.7
This kid is great!!!. With him and EJ will be in good shape.
