Re: RCC'S 2012 SCHEDULE

JJ,

If this website is all for not, why do you put so much effort into it?  I mean someone must read it?  Case in point.  I know John Wayne Cullen at a personal level.  His dad and I played football together and were really close friends.  So, when I saw John playing at Fullerton I was the one who gave him the nickname "The Sherriff."   That nickname went with him to Utah.  Well, now the Sherriff is headed to the NFL.  So, if John makes it and Boomer on ESPN calls John "The New Sherriff in Town" protecting some lucky NFL QB's backside.  That huge ego you keep talking about JJ.bored1  Well it gets another healthy helping of pie.crazy

Craft was at Mt SAC for three years JJ.  Not two.  Not even sure why you thought that unless you read it on a stat sheetexcited  First year was Kevin and Mt SAC went to state game against CCSF.  Second year was Lamaison and Mt SAC played at home Butte for the title.  Third year was in San Marcos and I decided to let Tom in on a what the legend known as Mountieman thought about his strategy in the urinal.eek1  By the way since you love Mountieman lore so much the year before when Mt SAC lost to Butte Craft got the same treatment from me.  Only this time, good old Mountieman took a header over the railing while yelling "run the ball".  But I hit the ground running and by the time I stopped running I was on the fifty yardline trying to help Jastrab and Company stop another famous Mt SAC malee at the end of the game....a story JJ.  Another story.  People love them JJ, because they are real, they were there, they saw me act out and now I write about them.

San Mateo, just like a T-shirt gives you a hard on, me getting the hometown of the Bulldogs wrong is not really good to hang your hat on the intigrity of my stories.

They are stories and a lot of people read them, laugh and get mad.  You mostly the latter JJ.  Stories JJ.  T-shirt and now the name of a team's hometown.  You must be in Quality Controlbiggrin

But, one more thing.  We all yell a lot of stuff from the stands and the beauty of it is the coaches and players can hear us because their are so few.  The "Put in Robert Santiago" story...story JJ, is a classic example of it.  Erik Erevalo "The Man Amongst Boys"  who played for Mt SAC back then played in the Arena league for Danny White's Arizona team a few years later.  He came over to me after the game and we had a good chuckle about the cold night at The Pound were Peppermint Schnapps once again got the better of me.

Re: RCC'S 2012 SCHEDULE

I don't yell at the coaches or refs at football games. I also don't get drunk at football games. See, it's not about me and what I'm doing there or what I did there or what people think of me or having people do, "remember the time" about me. You've landed on exactly what I find distasteful about the whole act: The element of ego. It's not that I haven't seen guys like that from peewee all the way up to NFL games. I just always thought those guys were tools who are there to be laughed at and pitied. For certain, it's nothing to aspire towards and definitely not my style.

And I stand corrected on the number of years Craft spent at MSAC, but I'm standing on my assertion that you had nothing to do with the victory at San Mateo. If anything, putting Vanderzee in the game might have served to sharpen Faulkner's wits and slap him into reality to come back and win the game. Of course, I'm sure that was all part of your master plan.

And, seriously, this forum is for entertainment only. I only read it for my own enjoyment. You just never know how low some guys will go. Its like trying not to look at a car wreck. Again, I know you don't get this, but this forum is supposed to be about JC football, not about any of us.
