What Should the Socal Rankings Be Now???

With El Camino losing, only Cerritos is undefeated. They should be #1.

So who (El Camino, Fullerton, Bakersfield, Mt. Sac., or even Harbor) should

stack up after them??? How far should the Warriors Drop?

Cerritos isn't the only undefeated, LA Harbor is the "other" undefeated teamdevil.

Good job Cerritos.

BC should be #3 behind Cerritos and Mt. SAC

Re: What Should the Socal Rankings Be Now???

I'd have to say Cerritos #1 because they are in fact unbeaten, although I think it's going to be hard to stay there.

Next I'd have Mt. Sac because of their win over Elco.

Next I'd have BC because of their last two wins.

Next would be Elco. Afterall they beat BC 40-24.

Next would be Fullerton, who beat #6 Palomar and #8 (at the time) Saffleback, but lost to Canyons.

Next would be Hancock who won big tonight.

Grossmont: Had a Bye.

Palomar

Harbor.

1. Cerritos

2. Mt Sac

3. BC

4. Elco

5. Fullerton

6. Hancock

7. Grossmont

8. Palomar

9. Harbor

Let the arguing begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: What Should the Socal Rankings Be Now???

There are no guarantees in SoCal football.

Elco handled BC pretty well, BC handled Pasadena with no problem, SAC struggled against Pasadena, then SAC beat Elco.

It's about on field matchups, coaching decisions, and the bounce of the ball. There are 4 or 5 teams that are pretty equal.

I think Rams has the poll pretty dead on for the upcoming week.

Re: What Should the Socal Rankings Be Now???

i could see FC at number three , even though they had a bad game vs. canyons they did beat Saddleback who beat mt. Sac and there sched. strength is much more competitive then any other team ranked in front of them they play in the hardest conference in the cali. Palomar , Grossmont , and Saddleback same conference.like ive posted before cerritos opp. win percentage was like 32% before last week

I know Bakersfield isn't looking past you guys cgrblue. They know that the Cougars will be leaving it on the field in that last game. A victory against BC would give you guys some good momentum going into next season when all those Freshmen return.

No way BC should be # 3 behind Cerritos and MSAC they should be # 5 how can you rank them ahead of ELCO to whom they lost

Re: What Should the Socal Rankings Be Now???

If your poll is correct and by all accounts it will be, only 6 of the top 8 teams will make the playoffs. Only 2 of Cerritos, Elco and Mt SAC can make it and only 2 of Fullerton, Grossmont, and Palomar will make it. Will it be Cerritos and Palomar left on the outside looking in again just like last year only to meet in a bowl game at a neutral site?

I take that back.  BC should be #4 behind Elco also.  Forgot about them...bad memory.

And COC scares the hell out of me.  Their season, their playoff game is against BC and BC will have to play a perfect (READ NO DUMB UNSPORTSMANLIKE PENALTIES) to beat COC.  BC was very undisciplined against Ventura.  Dumb mistakes, dumb penalties, dumb dumb dumb.
