*..........." if rcc is ranked 3 in nation and bc 50. it would be a total blow to rcc program if they didnt win by 50. And if bc wins its shatters rccs shot at nat title not to memtion the embarrasment of a 50 beating a 3."

I would imagine that there will be plenty of pressure on these two teams heading into their opener? I'm going to take RCC in a closer game than many are predicting.
RCC 38
BC 28

BC is loaded with talent this year, as a couple of old friends have decided to rejoin the team after taking last year off. I look forward to seeing them perform as they did in the 2012 Championship season. The line should be more experienced. And don't sleep on the Moore kid from Frontier. I watched him every friday night and he can throw.
BC 27
RCC 23 (missed XP)

All things considered, highly ranked opponent at home in their comfort zone, no chance to scrimmage against another team, (hate that by the way), first game.......hmmm

Riverside 41
Renegades 28
We learned in 2012 though, it's not how you start, its how you finish.

I can name that tune in 1 sentence ....GR lol

Unlike my Goon Squad cohort Diablos I do not drink the RCC kool aid hehe. There is no guarentee that the sucess in the years preceding are going to continue this year but there is no guarantee that they wont. I'm thinking it may be a good game but the BC defense is absolutely going to have to be on the ball.

I can tell you this tho; the tigers will have the #1 Oline in all JUCO hands down and an all star D1 secondary!!!&nbsp;</p>

I must admit you guys are sounding more and more like Mt SAC all the time.  If RCC has a deficiency - the next year it is fixed.  In 2012 RCC's QB was running around like a chicken with his head cut off in the Mt SAC game because of a weak O-line.  In 2013 that problem was fixed and would have been even better except for a couple of top notch linemen who got picked up at the last minute pre-season.  In 2013 RCC apparently had weak DBs so get-out-the-magic-wand and in 2014 RCC has an "all star D1 secondary."

Don't get me wrong - this may well be the year RCC puts it all together.  My point is - it's not all just the random luck of the draw in JC football these days with ANY of the top teams.  We and everybody else including the CCCAA and the SCFA knows it.

GO GADES!

We still have to see who the Qb will be, but we'll prob. see the Tigers running more in the first half of the season.

RCC has their JCFootball.com #5 National ranking by the experts but NOW BC has the unbiased poll results of the JCFootball.com readers poll.  wink

RC only got 2 votes.  Someone is sleeping.  Let's hope the Tigers aren't doing the same thing on the 6th against the Renegades.  I will guarantee you one thing - the Gades will leave it all on the field Sept. 6th - they just look like that type of a team.

GO RED! no orange

Hmmm, Maybe JJ, Craftsman and Tiger are one person and the other vote would be Diablos. hehe

Ratings mean diddly at this point. So the #3 vs. the #50 has no bearing whatsoever.

Knowing little about the new recruits for both teams, these are two of the best programs in the nation. Even when BC is in a down year, they rarely get blown out.

The Tigers playing at home should give them the edge, but they are going to have a hard time tackling McGregor. But BC better tackle a lot better than in the scrimmage to stop the Tigers.

Total guess.....BC 35  RCC - 33 (and obviously a homer guess)
