Same post as u put up over at MM`s site.................. U just chastized ru4reo for slamming Bakersfield and yet you chum it up with mountieman.....

Here's the deal NCoast. I just want kids to get noticed no matter where they go to a JC. Mountie and I have clashed many many times over the last decade, but that isn't going to stop me from posting on every site about juco kid's success. People on both sides of the aisle have been informative, and people on both sides of the aisle have been amusing at times, and petty and ridiculous at other times. Nobody has given Mountie a harder time over the years as I have, but I'm not going to take this stuff too seriously when it comes to internet arguing. When I first started writing about JC football a dozen years ago, it was on a site that was competing with this site. The owner of that site didn't particularly embrace Kevin, but I never bashed this site or Kevin while I was over there because it was counterproductive to what these sites should be about. Mountie's take on Kevin is wrong, but has anyone ever been able to change his mind about anything? I can tell you that Kevin isn't losing any sleep over it. The community input on these blogs are not really the biggest thing about this site. This is a recruiting site. In other words, it's not about us, it's about these kids. I enjoy a little ragging and humor on all sites until it gets too ugly. Ugliness is why Kevin had to pull the trigger on some posters. Nobody is a bigger fan of juco football than I am, but I try not to insert myself in the equation. I really have nothing to contribute to my team's success, or another team's downfall. I'm only observing like any other fan. I enjoy many posters, including yourself, and some I think have nothing better to do than try to live vicariously through their team, which is kind of sad when you think about it. So yes, I will most likely express opinions and try to give information on any site that 4 year schools may look at. Most of those schools have been looking right here on this site since the beginning, and Kevin and his former partner were well ahead of the curve for covering juco football.

Ha ha ha ha............. I`m all for the promotion of ball players but I don`t choose to support people that denegrate communities, JCs and the people in those communities or attack the parents of a JC player or the player himself........... each to his own preference !!!

Ac...............  congradulations on the outstanding student/athletes moving on from BC with the oppurtunity to get a 4 year degree paid for at their chosen schools.

Also, as far as the spin out of control thing........... the spin master and driving force behind it was MM and associates and it is still mentioned on his site today !!!!

And............. about dirt famers comments from Rosedale back in the day........... they would only say it once....

Again.............. best of luck to the young men moving on to 4 year schools.... a just reward for their hardwork in the classroom and all the time put in during the off season and of course their shining performances on Saturdays !!!!

No, I understand your point completely NCoast. You obviously aren't the only one that isn't sad that Mountie is gone. He fluctuates from putting Bakersfield down and giving them their due over on the other site. I think I'm just gonna hibernate till late summer on both sites. Today is signing day, so there isn't much news for awhile anyway. And I certainly have a full plate right now working, coaching High School kids and taking care of my 87 year old mom. So I will see you guys in a few months. Everyone have a great spring!

I tend to think of my writing style along the lines of Mark Twain Lemon likes to make his point with satire and humor.  Murph's style on the other hand,  incredible,  classic a touch of mild hyperbole, confident but not arrogant,  always well thought out with passion about the subject matter.  Intelligent writing is always a pleasure to read      beautifuly done Murph beautifuly done

Ah come on Murph.  It gets boring around here when some of you guys, that actually know something, don't check in every once in a while.
