In other words the Southern Conference was the weakest conference last year. Should the 3rd lowest conference champion get an automatic trip to the playoffs when they aren’t the 4th best team. For example (6-4) SB goes to the playoffs over (8-2) RCC and it could have just as well been over (8-2) BC. RCC beat SB 51-13. The injustice is evident. IMO - To let a 6-4 team into the playoffs over an 8-2 just isn’t right.
And yes this could affect BC in the Nothern Conference next year with VC, Cerritos, COC and AHC all fielding pretty good teams.
I'd say the top 4 in the latest rankings go to playoffs.

and then of course, there will be someone again that won't be happy. Ideally, top 2 in each conference should make playoffs.
