I realize your trying to get to Hamo with the (reject) description and thats fine. It may even be accurate even though a little harsh. I m not going defend Hamo but I will defend the rejects.  BC has an awesome thing going on with the local family and if I was part of that I would be extremely proud of it too. But I'm going to tell ya the next best thing is what Mt. SAC does with the rejects of the Country and why I am so proud to be a supporter of their program. I'm fortunate to be a little closer than most to the coaches and witness what goes on. What Jastrab and the rest of coaches do with these kids is just awesome. I know a lot think that the SAC program is just about winning but its much more than that. The winning is what people see the most but they attempt to take these kids and attempt turn them into men as well as winners. They dont all make it of course but I''l tell ya there is nothing sweeter than to see a reject turn into a man and Delanie Walker was one of those Mt. SAC losers and now tomorrow he is playing in his first Super Bowl. How can you not love that !!

Scooby, those coaches do a great job over there, no doubt. I think any negative connotation is due to a certain element in the fan base. The distaste for MSAC is partially because of this element and, of course, the dominance of the program. Everyone loves a winner, unless, that is, they cheer for a different team.

You gotta admit, though, that the MSAC fan base hasn't done a lot on this and other websites to win the hearts and minds of the general populace. I think that is because they try to make themselves the feature rather than to feature the team they cheer for. That's the impression I get anyway.

Well stated Scuba............. the job being done at Mt Sac is great !!!! JJ siad it best abt certain members of your fan base.......... needless to say that some are just complete morons and do nothing but denegrate your program and other programs with their posts. I will be watching the play of Kap as I followed him at Nevada for 4 years that he and my son were teammates 3 of those years............ he was so talented at Nevada but has taken that talent and refined his skills with the 49ers that the transition is amazing !!! Hope D Walker has a great game as well !!!! He will represent Mt Sac very well !!!
