BCMarcus,

That is just downright cruel, merciless, mean, unkind

brutal, vicious and spiteful......to ALL BCFans by not showing what you promised

But I'm still looking forward to it!

Re: DEFENDING STATE CHAMPS 2013 SCHEDULE

I was wondering about that too Mr. BCFan.  Only these home games were listed on the team calendar.  I think it will basically be the same schedule order so I just filled in the blanks.  I couldn’t guess the away times.  It looks like we are going back to 7PM on the early season home games. Unless it was division wide, I’d guess too many BC fans complained about the sun in your face & the heat at last years 6:00 kickoffs on the new home side.

Re: DEFENDING STATE CHAMPS 2013 SCHEDULE

BC fans, help me out here, what about these 4:00pm starts, it that something new? Good idea for us commuters coming from the greater LA area . . . Home by midnight . . . 4:00pm times due to standard-time change? Making us Mountie fans drive the Grapevine late at night with the 7:00pm start . . . Must be tougher for BC fans traveling home after a night game down south, you probably cross the Grapevine after midnight?

Re: DEFENDING STATE CHAMPS 2013 SCHEDULE

JJ . . . I'd rather the Mounties play RCC later in the season . . . Scared? Concerned? Too early in the season? Choose your medicine . . . More 4:00pm starts . . . I need to check Mt Sac's schedule . . . What's your rotation with BC?

Re: DEFENDING STATE CHAMPS 2013 SCHEDULE

There is NO rotation with BC for RCC at this time

The scfa will next set a NEW two year rotation (2014 and 2015) after the 2013 season.
And as I understand it - at that time (some) teams may be subject to movement between tiers and within tiers

http://scfafootball.com/about/...ive_meeting.pdf

BTW JJ....BC NOR RCC has VERY little say in rotation - but I know you was just funN with us.

Now, now boys . . . All this bickering . . . BC vs RCC, now that would a game I would pay to see . . . Kudos to both programs . . . Heavens, I can't believe I just said that . . . May need a visit with my brethren goons at Mt Sac for a dose of vile and devilish wit . . .

Re: DEFENDING STATE CHAMPS 2013 SCHEDULE

The Gades have to work hard to get a shot at RCC, where it is simply handed to Mt SAC. wink  It appears that RCC will face VC in game 1 again and it will also be MS vs. SB game 1, the same routine.  SB has got to be due for a win against MS. SB has played MS a lot closer than BC over the last several years.

Last year was overall the most exciting pre-season I can remember in a long time, even though BC lost 2 games.  I guess technically VC wasn’t preseason for BC even though it was the 4th game, so we actually only lost 1 pre-season.

Re: DEFENDING STATE CHAMPS 2013 SCHEDULE

It's a reversal of last year's schedule JJ. As you know, teams don't have a choice in who they play. Maybe the next year the Tigers can come up to Bakersfield or vice versa. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if they did hook up.

This schedule, although the same as last year, is actually more beneficial for the Gades. They get SAC at home, and the two toughest road games will probably be Cerritos and Fullerton.

Diablos the trouble with 4:00 games in the early part of the season is that the home side is blinded by the sun for the first half. I wouldn't mind a 1:00 game though.
Bakersfield fans have to travel farther than just about anyone, so we know all about those late night grapevine excursions.

I guess this is just a hypothesis of what the schedule might be like... banghead All I know is that RCC will have Ventura, Saddleback and Mount Sac at home this year. Too early for trash talking diablo devil

Re: DEFENDING STATE CHAMPS 2013 SCHEDULE

I can remember Bowser and maybe Chudy too strongly objecting to the 1:00 away game times in LA. They had to have the boys up, way earlier than their normal wake up time, to pack, load and get ready to leave. Then to top that off, the boys were trying to finish their night’s sleep during a cramped 3 ½ hour bus ride.  1:00 just wasn’t getting it.  I guess it would be the same in reverse for MS and others coming up here.
