Ac.............. I would like to see the line item for the budget at BC for maintenance of football field $60,000 per year !!! Thats like 1,000 per week in maintenance cost.....

What is the cost to install AT field ??? $ 2,000,000 ??? Hmmmm When will that surface need an upgrade ??? and, at what cost ?? how much cost in chemicals to sanitize the surface ???

What will the surface temp. be in that Bakersfield summer when its 105 degrees under a shade tree ??? What effect will that surface have on athletes and their hydration not to mention increased cost of injuries related to artificial surfaces ???

Finally............. the weather in Bakersfield isn`t a factor in changing to an artificial surface.... the people in the decision process probably have never felt what it will be like to play a game on a surface that is a 130 degrees..............

PS........... What HS will pay the fee to BC to play at Memorial Stadium ???
