Auburn signs JUCO transfer Cameron Artis-Payne

It was a pleasure to watch this guy run.  He had amazing speed for a guy his size (he plays a lot bigger than 5’11 – 210 lbs).  I hope he goes on to do great things.  The only other JC RB I can remember, who impressed me as much in recent years, was Fullerton’s Kelvin York who was supposed to go to USC but was dropped due to injury (as per Tommy).

York is at Utah where he backed up John White IV (L.A. Harbor) last season. He looked very good at times and should benefit from an experienced offensive line that improved over the season. I also understand that he's a great teammate and a really good guy.
