The Championship Party Continues 

The Bakersfield Condors hockey club will honor the 2012 California State Football Champion BC Renegades throughout their game this Friday Dec. 14th

Let's pack the arena just like we did Memorial Stadium wearing our Renegade gear!!! (Cowbells too)

On a serious note here is my email to the CCCAA about the program debacle. 

Dear Mr Carter,
As you know Bakersfield played and won the 2012 California State Championship before an amazing crowd of over 16,000 mostly Renegade fans. I was just wondering when the official CCCAA 2012 Football State Championship program with Bakersfield College on the program cover and not Mt San Antonio College will be available.  

It was a real disservice to the thousands who paid $5 for a program without the two competitors on it. I can only imagine if the 1988 MLB World Series Program had the NY Mets vs the Oakland A's because nobody expected the Dodgers to make the World Series but I digress. 
I am including my address in hopes I can receive a program with the best team in the country on the cover, Bakersfield College.  If not a $5 refund should be in order. 
Thank you and see you next year in Butte, CCSF, or wherever the game is to be held.

On Friday, the first 3,000 fans, 5 and older, will receive a HUGECondors 15th Anniversary Banner presented by 29 Eyewitness News, Fox Sports Radio 970, and Three-Way Chevrolet-Cadillac. These 3ft. X 5ft. Condors flags are perfect for showing off your Condors pride at home or around the office. 

The Condors will honor the state champion Bakersfield College Renegadesfootball squad on Friday as well and are running aspecial ticket promotion for BC friends, family, supporters, students and ANYONE who wants to show their appreciation for the ‘Gades with a smokin’ hot deal on Condors tickets. Come celebrate with the ‘Gades by purchasing a special $11(normally $18) lower-level ticket (the number of wins the ‘Gades had). Tickets must be purchased by Friday at noon by calling Brad or Kelly at 324-PUCK (7825). The deal will not be honored at the box office.

If AC/DC can shoot off 21 cannons in the Forum ( I saw it ) then we should easily be able to shoot one off in Rabobank...let's hope!!!

Nope. No cannon last night. However it was a great time seeing Flores, Carter, Dunn, H. Johnson and so many others wearing their State Championship letterman jackets. Best part of night was the time they took to sign autographs for kids (ok and me) and talk about next year and how the chemistry on this years team was so great. No egos. Do the job you are told and trust it will all work out.
