Re: Greenwood Foundation Contributions Link

Is there a way game officals could announce a text type contribution at the game Saturday?  You know text 30303 to add 10.00 to your phone bill to go to the foundation.  Seems like that you could raise some real money during the game in this manner. Have to do this now while its fresh in the fans mind.  You know how short our spans of attention can be.

The blog following the long road to recovery for former Hawkeye defensive back Brett Greenwood has been updated.

The blog, at http://www.brettgreenwoodfoundation.com, offers a 10-month update on Greenwood’s condition.

Greenwood was in the midst of a workout when he collapsed and his heart stopped on Sept. 9, 2011. Since then, he has been in rehabilitation, learning to speak and walk again as his body works to repair the brain injury he suffered. The latest blog post features photos of Greenwood’s rehab sessions, as well as shots of his dog, Steele Magnolia.

The above is from Hawk Central.... June 29, 2012
