I'd be shocked and quite honestly baffled if he's still committed to Iowa when it comes time for his John Hancock. We're just not sexy enough with KF at the helm.

We just got some wonderful news and people are already coming out with negative spins. It is funny, but sad. No....actually it is more on the funny side. What is sad is that some of the recruits and their family members actually read some of these forums. you don't want to start a pee-party with me Mabel. If you don't agree, fine....but your name-calling is about low as your sack is at this point of your lifespan.
take a Geritol and sip some of your dandelion tea and leave well enough alone. Very clever. Very mature. We just got a verbal committment from an in state stud and you get tough. More humor please.

He has been recruited hard for the past couple years and he probably just wanted it to end. By the way, I don't drink dandelion tea.

Yawn....
No offense to the young man, but wake me up when Iowa gets their first 4 or 5 star WR, RB, CB, or DE out of Florida or the likes....until then, keep the Iowa/Minnesota plow boy excitement to a minimum. It has grown tired....been there, done that. Even during KF's best year, our lack of speed and athleticism got exposed against SC in the Orange Bowl. That is reason #1 why I've been saying for 8 years now that KF peeked in 2002, and Iowa needs to be looking elsewhere for a head coach if they are truly serious about reaching the next level. Iowa sure as hell are pays him like they are serious about the next level....too bad he treats non-conference games like NFL pre-season and continues to preach to the world how un-sexy little ol Iowa is. He himself does more recruiting damage in his words and ultra conservative coaching philosophies, than any message board poster could.

Re: Ross Pierschbacher commited to Hawks
My daughter said Kirk was at the CF basketball game (Ike and Ross both play). Nice to see he is personally working the recruits to an extent. I've had plenty of opportunity to watch these two play over the past couple of years, and I think they'll be great additions to the team. Both SOLID commits not going anywhere but Iowa.

Re: Ross Pierschbacher commited to Hawks
Only when they wear the black and gold and perform on the field to compensate for captain comfortable/careful, will I give them any thought.

Re: Ross Pierschbacher commited to Hawks
Nice pickup. I was really hoping he would be one of ND's 4 OL in 2014.

While I do feel like KF has maybe one good run left in him, he certainly has performed below expectations. But to discredit the wins is just crazy.
