To be a head coach, or a CEO, you don't have to be good at everything.  You have to recognize your weaknesses, and hire people to compensate for areas you are not strong.

People say Ferentz is moral and honest to a fault.  Newsflash - if you can't go spread a bunch of BS, and tell kids what they want to hear, you'll end up recruiting lots of well grounded, smart, pre-med student athletes, that will allow you to finish 8th or 9th every year.

Find somebody that is ultra agressive, and can sell a line of BS to these kids - kids that are easily sold on BS, but get bored with honesty, integrity, and moral values.

We just had a couple of bad recruiting classes.
