JVB just has that blank stare out their no fire just looks lost out there. If Greg Davis has a 1 year contract it does Ruddock and the recievers no good.Does anybody know if that is true. I remember during the spring scrimmage The word on Ruddock was they were high on him however they always have to reel him in because he likes to shots 40-50 yds down field. My buddy was like thats not good and I said whats the difference at this point. An incompletion is an incompletion wether its 40yds or 3yds. This season is a wash give him a series or a half either one of them Ruddock or Sokol cant do ant worse.

Stanzi NEVER got a snap as a RSFR and he did pretty good as a RSSO coming off a 6-6 and a 6-7 seasons by Iowa, by going 9-4

Regardless of how much game experience our previous QBs may have had; with JVB's disastrous season, we are way overdue and need to see what the next man in can do. It is so obvious that our season is not going anywhere and KF represents the very small minority of those who don't realize it.
Let's see what Rudock can do!

WHat pisses me off is this has NOTHING to do with JVB being KF's choice for qb!!!!! Coach, he can be your guy but you sub in at other positions during the game, right? You put in Nico Law because you said you wanted to see what he could do!! Funny how you wont employ this same attitude for Ruddock!! I remember when HF was here, you know the real coach, and he always put in backups when they were ahread or behind and couldnt win just to get them experience. This is not about ego, it is simply the smart thing to do!! KF has proven to me that his ego and being right are more important than winning or making smart decisions!! What an idiot!

See Unfortunately we will never know. I have nothing but a feeling to back this up but believe JR is hands down a better qb than JVB and that is exactly why we wont see him!! Next he will amaze us all and KF will say how much he improved over the off season! He simply doesnt want to hear the backlash by putting him in and him doing well. It's all about ego! |

The difference is that the Iowa offense is so complicated a freshman coulud never run it. That is why you need a seasoned veteran like JVB. With the reads of the defense at the line of scrimage, the audibles that are called, the motion of the WRs, the double moves, only a player of JVB's caliber can handle that. Johnny Football would be lost.

See What's funny is there is a true freshman starting for Texas A&M and they knocked off the #1 team in the country. Why would you not play the future QB of this program?
