What 30 had to say about this week's pitchers:
Tues: S Taylor - "just need to get him more innings than he has been getting recently in relief"
Wed: C Munnelly - "just need to get him back out there after not going too deep last Sat - Liberty is good, and it will be nice to have some experience facing them"
Fri - K Emanuel
Sat - B Moss
Sun - TBA - "we'll see how it goes this week before deciding"

^ the above are not actually quotes, but are my memory of the gist of what Coach said.
Also said that C Moran has 2 appts this week, with x-rays to be taken Friday - said we are going to be very cautious bringing him back, with emphasis being on Colin's long-term well-being. That he will need to start slow, hitting off a tee, etc; cautious as not to expose him too soon to possibilties of injury from diving on field, sliding into bases, etc. Said as of right now, does not expect him back into the line-up until after exams (though will be open to other possibilities as we learn more about his recovery).

regarding ACC after Pittsburg joins, in current discussion on how that will be handled - voting on the alternatives - possibilities seem to be 30 ACC games, 33 games, 36 games. Coach speculates that 30 games seems to be the most likely to be selected, meaning 2 teams would rotate off the schedule each season. 2014 is when this would most likely take effect.
Said he preferred that the ACC tournament be eliminated, and replaced with a free weekend, but that the vote against that seemed to be 11-1, or maybe he could convince another coach or two to go along with his extreme minority opinion.
