It appears to be complete now with 34 student-athletes, the players not on the roster from the Fall World Series are Jack Geraghty, Dallas Newton, Michael Lowry and Kayden Porter.

Porter transferred to Southern Nevada
Newton is playing at Pitt CC
Lowry is playing for Brunswick CC
Geraghty appears to still be enrolled at North Carolina

I know this "cut" is the hardest part of the year for our coaches (and any D1 staff). Chalk this up as yet another entirely stupid rule from the NCAA.

What happened to Fr. Landon Fraley? I noticed he is not on the roster but seen where he pitched in some of the scrimmages.

Very well could have. The roster doesn't have to be set until opening day.

Less than 48 hours until first pitch, State's roster has 37 names on it.

Eight are from JUCO's.

That's a very different recruiting environment.

Porter, was he not expected to be a heck of a player? He was a big boy and I looked forward to seeing his power. What happened there?
I checked the rosters I kept from the Fall World Series and noticed all 4 are frosh.......were there any other factors than just trimming the roster? I knew some would be cut but to lose the 4 and they all have just gotten here........
