it's amazing how that athletic program has unraveled since they joined the ACC....at least all but basketball, I guess

Not good when your strength coach is directly linked as well as several former players. Not really sure why anyone is that surprised, Miami has never really followed the rules. Interesting to see how the NCAA comes down on them because this involves players and employees of the school.

Sure am glad we stay in the ACC. Wouldn't want to get "dirty" with all those SEC schools making headlines about this sort of thing.

So, we've had confirmed PED cases in the last 2 years at NC State, Duke, and Miami. Nice job Swoff.

Over the years, I'd marveled at how effective some of our opponents' weight rooms had become. Occasionally, Freshmen would arrive as average-sized second-basemen; and, by the time they were Juniors, they were third-basemen competing in home run derbies on the Cape.

How unfortunate it is for the majority of kids who bust their tails daily in "inferior" weight rooms.

not sure you can blame Swoff for Miami....basketball has CLEARLY improved with an ACC move, but football/baseball have just imploded ever since they announced the ACC move....crazy

Miami has improved in basketball BUT are they legal in what they are doing? I ask because it seems they are illegal in everything else they do!

oh goodness, here comes the fools thinking the SEC would remotely improve UNC Athletics in anything. Yes, that includes football.

The only fools are the ones that think moving to the SEC wouldn't improve UNC Athletics especially Baseball and Football.

I'll be a fool anytime then. Though I have to wonder how someone believes playing Boston College, Pittsburgh, Syracuse (oh wait, nevermind, they don't even bother), Virginia Tech, Wake, and Duke could serve a baseball squad better than playing an SEC slate. Everyone has an opinion I suppose.
