Looks like our coaching staff is doing a great job with Blanding so far. If we could get one of the top guys from Virginia to commit early I think it could really help us with recruiting the other Virginia guys.

I live in the Alamance County area. Word around here is that 2014 target Johnathan Lloyd, QB at Southern Alamance High School, has us in his top 3. Lloyd ran for over 1,000 yards this season and passed for over another 1,000.
Ohio State still leads.

I wouldn't rule us out yet. Lloyd's dad is on the coaching staff at SA, so I'm sure that he's in the loop.

According to Carolinablue.com Avery Edwards could be our #1 priority for TE in the 2014 class. He has great size and pretty good speed for a big guy. I was hoping we would be a player for Jeb Blazevich too but he seems to be looking out of state more then staying at home right now.

I thought so but just wanted to make sure. I read two articles one on Chris Register and one on Braxton Berrios. Right now it looks like both guys are favoring out of state teams but we are in both guys top 4. It made me wonder how long it will take Fedora to get instate guys to start leaning towards us from the get go. I know a lot of these guys can probably hardly remember when we were a top 10 team so growing up they probably pulled for other football teams that were winning. I think if we can keep winning and building excitement we could bring in a top 10 recruiting class in 2015.

Put me in the category of fans who doesn't care where our players come from, as long as they can play!!!!! However, I do believe there are 4 Areas we should be emphasizing in regards to recruiting, they are:
1) The Whole State of North Carolina.
2) Tidewater/Virginia Beach Area.
3) Jacksonville, Florida Area.
4) South Florida Area.
If we can do very well in these 4 Areas, year in and year out, we should Always Have Top 20 or Better Recruiting Classes!!!!!! (Especially after we no longer have any Scholarship Restrictions)

I read a Carolinablue.com article that 4 star receiver Josh Malone really liked his trip to Chapel Hill. Also Quin Blanding has cut his list to 10 and we are in it. I was surprised that V Tech did not make his list.

this offense will bring high school coaches from all over the state back to UNC to lern the fed spread.
We finally have a system that high school coaches will want to learn and that is the start to getting control of NC.

It appears to me we could get all of our Offensive Line, A-Back, WRs and most our Defensive Line and LBers from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia for the 2014 Class!!!!!!
