A few people I know seem to think Mizzel might visit for the GT game. Obviously this is not confirmed or anything like that but I also seen this on another message board so maybe they are on to something. Could be a lot of wishful thinking though.

We should be hearing something from Alston pretty soon I would think. Since he missed the game against state I have a feeling he might be leaning towards state at this point.

I don't know if that's the reason that Alston missed the game, but I DO know that ACT Tests WERE held Saturday.

Guys we may have a real good shot at North. He had been favoring Tennessee and right now I don't think they are in his top three anymore. Everything I have heard from my friends and read says Alston is headed to state which if we get North would be fine with me. Looks like Crowder still favors Clemson but we are still in the mix. I'm still hoping we can flip Mizzel because if we do I think we will also bring in Blanding in the 2014 class.

WR Marquez North has 2 Helmets on the IC Recruiting Board now and really should have had them for the last 2 Months!!!!!!

Game Result: defeated Warren Harding, 45-35, in the first round of the OHSAA Division I playoffs.

It will be interesting to see how this class finishes up. If Mizzell is truly interested in flipping to UNC, and both North and Crowder commit as well, that's 22 players in this class, meaning that at least 2 of those current commitments would have to prep.
I'm fairly confident if UNC closed with those three guys, it would be the best case scenario for this year's class.

Quin Blanding is a teammate of Mizzell... so getting Mizzell might help recruit the big safety too.

If we flip Mizzel I think we will get Blanding too. Looks like OG Miller will decide soon probably for Rutgers. I see he is still listing us even though it has been reported we no longer have interest in him.

In the New ESPN Player Rankings for 2013 QB Mitch Trubisky moved from 12th Ranked Dual-Threat QB to 8th Ranked Dual-Threat QB. We also have DT Webb, CB Walker, WR Howard and WR Fieulleteau in the Top 300 with DT Webb and CB Walker in the Top 150: espn.go.com/college-sports/foo.../north-carolina

I don't think I have felt as good about the overall QB situation at UNC since we hat Thomas and STanicek (or however you spell it) DD was great but we had bunting so i never felt good about anything to do with unc then.

I don't know if we are Recruiting him at all or not, but WR Stacey Coley is apparently open to all Schools that have offered him and won't make a decision until Signing Day!!!!! I think this is a no brainer that the Staff should really turn up the Heat on Recruiting Him as he is better than our Current Back-Up Plan at WR Jonathan Alston, just in case North doesn't come our way!!! He was offered at OG but we no longer have interest in him from what I have heard. He has favored Rutgers for a while so I would be surprised if he didn't go there. I think we are going all in on Crowder and if we don't get him we may try to flip someone else who is having second thoughts on there commitment.

This decommitment has been coming for weeks...his mom is in Africa and wants her two sons to play on the same team to cut down on her travel demands and so she can see both sons play...his brother plays for Ole Miss.

My buddy told me that Korin Wiggins coach said Korin is still undecided about where he will go to college. He plans on taking visits to Ohio State, NC State, Clemson, and maybe South Carolina. Honestly if we lose Wiggins I'm not to worried about it especially if we could get guys like North, Crowder, Mizzel, Crooks or Stacy Cooley (if we get involved). I also wouldn't mind us going after Da'Shawn Hands buddy and Duke commit Evrett Edwards.
