The higher USuCk is ranked come Labor Day the better our win will look. If we do what we need to do in Columbia we will be favored in all remaining games.

One thing to check is which teams benefited from a favorable turn over ratio last season and given them an extra loss or two this season, aside from anything else, under the "regression to the mean" concept.

Oregon and Florida meet those criteria.

Obviously, personnel and coaching changes are also significant. I think having a returning QB with experience and at least decent talent is high on the list.

They shouldn't allow voting until after four or five weeks of play.
