Is there a Heel that could go pro early in '14?
I know this isn't exactly a "feel-good" type of post, but I was looking at the roster for next season and also the projected depth chart. I was looking for a potential breakout candidate at the LB spot since there are a lot of unknowns outside of Travis Hughes. After noticing he will be a junior, I was thinking how screwed we could be if he left early after a breakout year. There are really no proven commodities in that group other than Heffernan.
Personally, I think Hughes is gonna be a beast for us this year. Better than Reddick actually.
Any other juniors or redshirt sophs that could make a splash while also having legit NFL talent/measurables?

Ebron is the first who comes to mind. Morris if he has a breakout year this upcoming season.

I hope we have a great year that will highlight (nationally) several top-notch NFL prospects. Any good program faces this every year. Ebron has NFL written all over him. Travis Hughes has the tools if he can get his head into the game correctly. He should have a very good year.

If we have a player who goes pro early it usually means that player is VERY good and has a had a college career. I know this isn't always true (DPM), but if we have a guy in 2013 that has an impact like Gio had in 2012, I think you have to just sit back and enjoy the time he was here.
If DPM can justify to himself that going pro is a good idea, I would think anyone could, but my guess would also be on Ebron also. He's probably the most impactful player at his position on the team.

Ebron is outta here after next yr. This is why we need 2 TEs in next yrs recruiting class.
