Blanding sets date.?
Quin Blanding set his decision date for 1 wk from today. Does UNC have a legitimate shot at landing him?

As I understand it, we're in his top 3... But all things considered, I would feel more comfortable if his recruitment dragged on a while longer.

some outlets now saying final 3 are OSU, FSU and UVa..

About a month ago he said people would be shocked at who he ends up picking but I wouldn't be shocked about any of those three.

ESPN Watch List safety Quin Blanding (Virginia Beach, Va./Bayside) is ready to make his decision.
The 6-foot-2, 196-pound prospect, who competed in Gridiron Kings over the summer, is down to a final group of 10. And his declaration, he confirmed to ESPN, will come at 2:30 p.m. ET Feb. 27.
"Yep, and it is the top 10 I posted," he said.
That group includes Clemson, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, NC State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Virginia and West Virginia.
Back in August, Blanding said he wasn't going to think about recruiting until after his junior season.
"I am just looking to lead my team and go game by game," he said then. "I am just trying to make it far into the playoffs and looking to be a team leader and have fun."

Almost assuredly UVA; they have a Strong pipeline to his HS; D Nicholson, Smoke Mizell, now probably Blanding.

It could be interesting further down the road. You gotta figure London's seat is getting a tad warm. You know other schools aren't going to stop recruiting him, I wonder if Larry is done here.
