I started off as a UNC bball fan about 15 years ago, and just recently started following UNC football. I bought my I Support Butch shirt but I am happy with the direction Fedora has taken this team. But I still dont understand the recruiting process as well as the experts here do.

So...

Once the kids sign the LOI they are stuck right?
Are there any chances of suprises after today with this class?
Are there any kids that havent signed with a school that is still on the UNC radar?

Didnt know if this is what it is in terms of 2013 recruiting.

Not sure "stuck" would be the right word, but after a school receives their NLI, they must sit out a year if they decide to transfer in the first couple years. There are other situations, like graduating in 3 years, etc, that might allow them to play earlier if they transfer. Not every single kid in the country will sign their NLI today, so is there a chance for a surprise after today? Possibly, but I'm sure Coach Fedora will not take just anyone to fill the last scholly. From what I've read (and I may be wrong), but looks like Coach Fedora and staff got what they wanted in "quality" recruits. He stated on ESPNU that he really feels like this class will be the 1 that competes for MULTIPLE championships!!
