...and the crown jewel of their class is...the 22nd ranked center...
BTW, Lucas Crowley is the 20th ranked center in this class...

You aren't the only one. Apparently a lot of high school football players are having trouble remembering his name, too.

Re: Meanwhile over on Pack Pride
I don't see the risk in Doreen. At least not at the same level as Lowe. Lowe was an absolutely terrible hire from the start. I know he energized the fan base and he wore a red jacket, but the guy had disaster written all over him, beginning with the process of "earning" an online degree so that he was eligble for the position. And, of course, he had won less than 40% of his games as an NBA head coach and didn't have college coaching experience.
I don't see Doreen being that bad, but we can certainly hope for the best.

Ehh, other rankings have them just barely behind us in the middle. They have a much greater quantity whereas we have a slightly greater quality

Eh they are ranked #6 on rivals and #9 on scout so it's all based on the service. I like espn because of our ranking --------------------------------------------- --- WonderWarthog wrote:

There is reason to say we did great. 4 parade all americas, tons of ESPN 4 stars but Rivals has us virtually tied with NCSU ss the poster said above. I guess we will see how good they are.

A wuffie coworker told me that almost half of their recruits were picked up by the new coach. I'm really going to miss Toby...

I think his NBA winning percentage was closer to 25% than 40%.

If you get tired of all the recruiting stuff today, go read their thread titled...

Rivals has Trubisky rated as a 3 star. No further thinking required to understand Rivals ranking system sucks.

Anyone who thinks NCSU's class is level with ours is just being stoopid.

RE: Meanwhile over on Pack Pride
ncsu's class ranking is based on 25 recruits which is 50% more signees than UNC has. We outrank them even though they are credited with eight more signees. Compare average individual scores for a more meaningful class analysis.

RE: Meanwhile over on Pack Pride
It's hard to predict, which is why the rankings vary so much. You can't just compare average individual scores because obviously you'd rather have a 4.0 with 22 guys than with 17. I'll definitely take our class over states, but we don't have much room for injuries, transfers, etc

Re: Meanwhile over on Pack Pride
It's like one of the guys who used to work for Scout told me. Under Scout's system, if you sign at least 20 but can't break the 2000 point barrier, your class is probably viewed as average at best.
If you sign more than 20 and can't break the 2000 point barrier, well, you better hope you have some sleepers ready to awaken.
