Wiggins may be gone to Clemson. Rumors swirling that is his choice.

Wiggins to announce at 9:30 per Climpsin site. I don't like the feel of it.

Re: EDITED: Wiggins & Haynes Still Left

Here is what Wiggins needs to understand.
Once today is over, all athletes become normal students and coaches stop kissing their butts.
The fact that wont change is that he is a after thought or just another one of the 'other' guys in Clemsons recruit class, BUT, he is a standout, elite part of UNCs class.

Your choice Son.

You want to be The Man at UNC or Another Kid at Clemson ;)

FYI: You will see field ASAP at UNC and therefore the NFL will have film on you sooner if you pick UNC :)

Re: EDITED: Wiggins & Haynes Still Left

So we criticize North for making a decision based on playing time, but your hoping Wiggins makes a decision based on competition.

We cover every angle on this board, for certain.

I felt North would have played more at UNC and sooner than at Tenn. Those UT kids from last year on bench are highly rated.

As I said:

In the NFL today, both Clemson and UNC have 22 players on rosters. So no matter what Clemson coaches tell you about NFL , UNC has same pull as Clemson and you will be on field from Day One.

Film for the NFL and a UNC education thats admired nationally.

Not sure if this is good or bad, but if he eventually signs for UNC I will definitely spin it as a good thing after the fact haha.

We need both of these guys, but Haynes's LOI is concerning me more than Wiggins, it wouldn't surprise me if Wiggins flipped, but Haynes c'mon man!!!!!

Why would a verbal commit have an announcement unless he's changing? Sorry, but Div 1 high schoolers are divas.

I hope Wiggins follows his heart. He committed to UNC first and now he has heard the Clemson sales pitch. Old saying is You think long you think wrong ! Stay with your first choice.

Maybe Haynes just wants to be the last LOI that comes in...so he's waiting on Wiggins...

Von Bell to UT. Which has put Ohio State back in the picture. I have a bad feeling that Wiggins was waiting to see what Bell did first.

Was obvious when he didnt put his LOI in... Writing was on the wall.. That one really stings. Kid was with us the whole way then down to the end he chose someone else.

Wonder if we have a backup plan.

what a punk=Wiggins. committed all this time then switches. we could have made other plans. or at least offered Alston as a safety. this blows.

Good luck to Wiggins at CU. Sometimes you steal one on NSD, sometimes you lose one. Just our bad luck this year.

Seems like he is ******* over Khris Francis as well. Oh well, moving on. not going to concentrate on the one who isn't coming but the 17 young men who are.

Re: EDITED: Wiggins To Clemson

The fact is he committed to UNC on Feb 9th 2012, stayed committed until National Signing Day then signed with someone else. Shows the type of person he is...I'll leave it at that. It's not like he was some super great athlete, based on the rankings a little better than average player that wanted some attention.

No loss. Walker and Miles more important. Wiggins will be career special teams. Johnathon Smith redux.
