UNC Announces Gilmore Hire 


CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Keith Gilmore, a 28-year college coaching veteran who spent the last four seasons at Illinois, has been named North Carolina’s defensive line coach, head coach Larry Fedora announced Tuesday.

Probably because UNC had to conduct all appropriate background type checks on the dude before they officially made the announcement. Probably had to get his contract approved also.

Thanks. Just curious. Little Carolina announced the Deke Adams hiring a little quicker. I guess Spurrier has a little more authority.
