Think we will get any good surprises on Signing Day ?
Seems like each year, we Heel fans start talking about a possible good surprise added to our recruiting class. I hope this year it's a DL, but naturally would be happy with anything that helps the team.....

There is always hope!! Not everything gets out to the media on behind the scenes recruiting in the days leading up to signing day! I am sure the staff is working deligently if they think there is someone they can land.

I would love not have to be surprised. If we could have a breakout year on the field it would do wonders. No more losses to WF, Duke, or State. Winning on the field and filling the stands are within our control. Take care of that the rest will follow.

^agree. We have a good season, do well against South Carolina, win the division we wont be losing our in state recruits to second tier SEC Programs

Korrin...although his last official visit did halt some of the momentum Clemson had. Think we have a pretty decent shot at keeping him.

If that is our only loss could live with it. Korrin doesn't matter one way or the other IMO. A surprise would be awesome. Who knows what the coaches have up their sleeves.

If we have any ships left do any of the New walkons get one or will they be given to veteran walkons?

No chatter on the Clemson side of things about Korrin flipping to us.
Most of the ones that put up percentages have it around 10%.
I guess you never know with 17-18 year olds

Heard Fedora say ...we got a surprise coming to Carolina out of Asheville NC . A lighting quick change of direction -back ..some player named C Justice is all I know at this point. Can do it all, punt-pass and hit hole with blazing speed & quickness ! We'll see what happens.
Just a huge economic day for the US auto industry as well....data says new cars will be flying off the lots tomorrow !!!! Last year on National signing day saw record sales .
Football cap sales as well...for all the press conferences out there where caps will be switched at the last minute ! Flat Screens and jewelry as well will see massive sales numbers. Merchants are fired up as well!
"Young man what will it take for you to return for your sophomore year at Oklahoma" ? "Well a new double-wide would be nice !"
OK !
All kidding aside...I like what I see Coach Fedora and staff doing at UNC. Know the staff is working overtime to have a fine class for Carolina !

I'm just doing my Beetlejuice call lol. He hasn't committed anywhere solid yet, so was just throwing his name out as a possible surprise. I doubt he choses us, but you never know. We have a spot left.

Well. That would be nice. Hell, just give him a shot at defensive end like he wants, and if it doesn't work out then move him inside. He was a teammate of Davis. So that helps. Kinda sucks Reed just parked a spot for the heck of it waiting for something he felt better to open up (he has decommitted from two schools now) which put us behind on Miller since we are low on spots.

No, but he went to same high school as Quinshad Davis and they're friends. I didn't think Miller ever did his official visit to UNC so I'd be surprised if we landed him.
As for Korrin Wiggins, he is an important part of our class. If he doesn't matter then neither does half of the class. We need help in the secondary, I'm glad we have 4 DBs committed. Korrin has a few good offers from bigtime programs, has the potential to be a good safety for sure.

Evidently, the answer to the OP's question is "No". However, what's up with Tyrone Crowder? I know he eliminated us, but he hasn't made a formal announcement yet. Clemson is reportedly the only offer? Georgia backed off?
