Probably has been a state lean for a while and didn't like being a backup option to North.

Cant say I blame the kid if a lot our eggs were in the North basket. But is Alston elite enough for us to take on another WR when only 1 spot remains and we need some Dline help.

I believed that he was state lean just being from that area. They seem to favor state there.

We never offered him, and in fact if we had we would've offered him as an athlete with plans on him playing defense from what I've heard. Plus as the poster above me said, I doubt he qualifies. Look for him to prep.
