Switzer is definitely good enough to play this year, however it may be better, (for the team) if he could red-shirt and put on about 15-20 lbs. of muscle without losing any of his lightning speed!!!!!! Same with Logan!!!!!! We have some nice returning talent at A-Back and RB, plus Francis is better built for RB,(now) and in School already!!!!

The best thing about him.....he Loves Carolina!!!

Tenn, FSU, Clemson & WVU all made late runs at him.
He gave em' the heisman.

RE: #1 A-Back in the Nation!!!

How about this crazy idea. Coach puts them on the field in practice and let's them compete for the playing time. Then he and the staff evaluate their performance. Then they play the men who have earned the playing time regardless of rankings coming in, how big they are or what people like us think. There is no way anyone can say who will or won't. It's going to be settled where it should be. On the field. Switzer has things you can't coach and can't teach. Those kind of guys usually do pretty well.

In Fedora's offense, the idea is to have more weapons than the Bloods and the Crips. Suit him up!

He seems to have good hands and great speed. Looks like a nice fit, can't wait to see him on campus!

looks like he'll be really good. But radio show dude today made a comment about the overall quality in WVA not being the best, so the highlights may not show the accurate picture. But apparently he's got the skillset and talent to probably compete immediately.

True, but I still dont think it matters what state you play for, when you are the #1 player in that state....2 years in a row...I think it speaks volumes about the kids talent.

---------------------------------------------

Of course it matters which state it is? Being player of the year in Ohio, Florida, or Texas is a much better accolade than being state player of the year in states with lesser talent whether it's one year or three years in a row. I am not knocking the kid by any stretch, but there is a lot of stuff being thrown around with very little information. His video looks good, but so does everyone else's (do you guys actually look at other players' videos). Don't get me worng, his video is great, but show me a D-1 kid who doesn't have a quality video and I will show you one that doesn't have good video-making skills. ALL these kids have awesome videos. The purely objective viewer would also wonder why he had no offers to some of the higher profile regional schools like VT, Ohio State, UT, Pitt, UK, Louisville. That Penn State offer is nice, but something makes me wonder about the "committability" of the FSU offer. Honestly, it didn't seem to stay committable long if you track his quoted offers in his articles, but it has remained residually on the profile.

Regardless, if I was a betting man, I would absolutely take that bet for $1000 that he doesn't redshirt if given the right odds. I'm not saying that he is going to redshirt, but there is a decent chance that he will. I mean, there is a non-zero chance that he will get hurt and not even be healthy (happens every year, last year it happened to three projected starters). But even if he remains healthy, we're getting back a lot more bodies coming in than we are losing. We basically lose Gio and Highsmith (Boyd contributely very little last year). And we are getting back TJT, Wilkins, and a half dozen freshmen who were redshirting last year or played only sparingly and another half dozen who will be coming in and competing for what snaps would still be available for a freshman at one of the skill positions. It's tough to foresee him definitely fitting in.

But we all have our favorite recruits coming in and this happens every year with folks who may overinflate the abilities of certain kids. Who knows if Switzer will be an All-American in college?

That video was posted by Michael Switzer.
Y'all should show some him some love with youtube comments instead of commenting here.
