Hope Coach Bunting was there------He certainly was one of "Dooley's Best".

Coach Dooley was one of Carolina's best !!!!!!!

Saw Moyer a couple of months ago....didn't look deceased.

Redskins would have beaten the Bears in a 1984 playoff game had he not broken his leg late in the first half. As soon as he got hurt the 'Skins running game disappeared and the Bears came back to win. Never seen an injury to an OL turn a game around like that one did.

Moyer was at the Letterman's Lounge every home game last fall. He was definitely not in a Weekend at Bernie's state.

Loved the Dooley years. I often wonder what might have been if he had stayed for 10 more years. Good to see Don McCauley in the pics. Truly one of the great ones. I was in Kenan for every one of his games in his senior season and he was just dominant.

What was this event?
I was lucky to get a ball signed by that team at the reunion a few years back.

THESE PICTURES WERE TAKEN LAST APRIL IN WILMINGTON. COACH DOOLEY (THE OLD TRENCH FIGHTER) WAS BEING INDUCTED INTO THE N.C. HALL OF FAME. WE HAD ABOUT 50 FORMER PLAYERS FROM UNC, VA TECH, & WAKE (80% OF THE GUYS THERE WERE FORMER UNC PLAYERS. IT WAS A GREAT WEEKEND...SOME GOOD TIMES...MANY STORIES TOLD! COACH DOOLEY WAS A TOUGH OLD SOB...WE LOVED HIM EVEN THOUGH HE'D KICK OUR BUTTS EVERY DAY! I'M THE ONE WITH THE HAT ON...TED ELKINS, DEF.END '75
