Yep. Undrafted, undersized, and working in an electrical supply store when football genius Bill Polian of the Colts came a calling offering a perfect system for a guy of his size and skills to play in. 6 Pro Bowls, a Super Bowl ring, and many millions of dollars followed. Quite a ride.

He will not coach. He has had offers in the booth as well as administration. He has expressed interest in coming home to UNC. Both he and Karen are from the Atlanta area so CH is a lot closer to Georgia than Indy but that has been home for 13 years. I'm excited for him, his family and friends. Jeff is a lot more than a football player and anyone that knows him will agree.

The player with the perfect last name for college football had a wonderful NFL career also! Ask Peyton Manning about the anchor of those exceptional Indianapolis Colts O-Lines! I wish Jeff Saturday the best!

If anyone watched the Pro Bowl yesterday, you saw a great gesture of respect for Jeff. Although he was playing for the East, he went into the game after a changeover for the West squad, to center the ball one time to Peyton Manning. It was a very cool moment, and you could see the mutual respect all the players had for Mr. Saturday.
