Thank you Kev! I watched your daughter enter Kenan more than once in her daddy's jersey. You will be remembered as being a leader on the team that changed the course of UNC football for years to come, I'm sure of it.

It's people like Kevin Reddick that always make me feel great about being a Carolina fan.

Re: LB Kevin Reddick was in no hurry to leave Tar Heels...

"After North Carolina was placed on NCAA probation and received a one-year bowl ban last March, linebacker Kevin Reddick received overtures from several schools asking him to transfer."

I know that just because the article says it happened, it doesn't mean it happened, but I'm pretty sure that is a violation. I know that you can't initiate discussion with a player at another school about transferring unless he announces that he is transferring. In fact, I don't even think Reddick can initiate contact with someone from another school. It has to be a 3rd party from what I understand. Maybe that is what the article is implying happened? Or maybe schools are allowed to contact players who are on teams who are on probation? Curious...

Nor were any Tar Heel fans in any hurry for him to leave. We've been blessed with some special LBs over these past few years.

I mean absolutely no disrespect, HalftimeHeel, but I would wager one of the positions we've been most blessed FOR GENERATIONS, is at the linebacker corps. Names like: Hollier, Koman, Hawkins, Bunting, L.T., Hanburger, Steinbacher, Mays, Newman, Nicholson, Carter, etc; are a huge part of our football lineage. We shouldn't forget that. Those boys should be just as revered as the the tailbacks on their respective teams.
