I was listening to the Bill King "On Campus" show this morning, and he was fielding calls on college football recruiting with his recruiting experts. A caller asked about Tar Heel recruiting and they offered the following points....

....a lot of class rankings are based on performance during junior year. Once they complete reviews of senior year, North Carolina's class is going to be considered even better than it is right now.

....North Carolina is in good shape with Marquez North

....it was a big win to get Lawson to visit, but he is expected to stay in the SEC. Sounds like we have a much better chance of getting

....Deke Adams went to South Carolina mostly because his former coach at Southern Miss is also on staff. Not expected to impact this class.

Sorry if this is all old news...thought I would post someone else's perspective. Take it FWIW.

Also said they really love this class and they knew Fedora would find recruiting success in Chapel Hill.

Bill King has an entertaining show and good guests.

You never know what an official visit will do for a kid. This weekends visit might be just what Mr. Lawson is looking for.

Boys, (and ladies), I think you should all start getting really excited about Tar Heel football and recruiting. Coach Fedora is putting together a hell of a good class. Think of how good its going to get when we appear in the ACC title game next year. (fingers crossed). The train is picking up.steam, and its good to be on it.

Well, at least Deke Adams didn't try to recruit UNC commits for this recruitng period. You can't say the same for the coach who left State for Clemson. He will get a second commit from the Pack to flip to Clemson this weekend.
