Miami lost their OC

Miami lost their OC

Not sure how this truly effects their offense but continuity is really important for true success.
Miami Hurricanes offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch joins NFL's Jaguars.

This could be a chance for them to upgrade. Their offense sucked last year.

It may be an upgrade, but it will probably set them back a bit. Which is good news, I consider them to be the biggest challenge to us winning the coastal next year.

Any blip in continuity is going to set them back in the short run. Good for us.

Golden has plenty of mediocre 'pro-style' re-treads to choose from.

They're like we were under Butch, lot's of talent but no good offensive leadership (Shoop). Talent can only go so far without a leader. One more year of transition is one more year we can win the Division.

I would think more coaches would bail before the hammer falls. Seems like a tough situation for a new coach to go to for the same reason...

Re: Miami lost their OC

Continuity isn't near as important as competent coaching. I would have gladly dropped shoop to start over with an upgrade at OC. Truth be told, Shoop likely cost Davis his job. Had we had a decent OC fielding a top 25 offense, UNC would have likely been winning 10+ games given the Ds we had. If so, I don't believe UNC could have fired Davis. We may end up owing Shoop a thank-you if Fedora produces like we all hope he will.

Rumor of the day is that the OC at Florida State--James Coley--is a contender to take the OC job at Miami.

Thank Shoop for costing us a coach that could have had us consistently winning 10+ games? That's some ****** up logic if I ever saw it.
