I met Stu for the first time while washing clothes in our laundry room on the ground floor of Ehringhaus Dorm in '82. He was a quiet and unassuming guy during undergrad. A few years or so after graduating in '85 I was flickign through the channels on TV and recognized Stu on the ESPN network covering some crazy like skateboarding. Immediately, I recognized him as the quiet guy from the laundry room who blew-up to another personality on my favorite channel, ESPN.
I'm a Tar Heel and a Stu Scott fan for life.
Sending up prayers because I know God will rain down blessings on Stu for a speedy recovery.

I ask Tar Heels everywhere to lift Stuart and his family in prayer and ask God to give them the strength and courage to deal with this again and to be victorious in their battle. Fight on, brother!
