7 guys at Defensive End? For 1 position?
OK...I'm gonna have to ask everybody to not post any position depth charts until Tribusky's 5th year senior year.
At that point, I may be able to make sense of this whole new system. Switzer at "A Back" is even making my mind a little numb.

Assume some of the DE's become DT's or Bandit's.
A Back is essential to this offense and we didn't really have players recruited to that position. Bet 1/2 the playbook last year was unusable without that position on the field.

probably because of his run tackling in space which he's pretty good at...much more so than pass coverage

He wasn't exactly lighting it up in the secondary. Maybe this will be a good position for him.

tre boston is an excellent tackler on the run on the edges...he just doesnt have the speed to cover go routes....this may be a good change for him

If the Ram and Bandit positions are the keys to this new defense, we better have a really high scoring team next year. Tre and the Bandit players MUST step up to give the Team a chance.

"A Back" at Georgia Tech is a mean runner. I assume "A Back" at UNC is a punt returner and slot receiver style skill set? Can't see the two guys listed on that depth chart setting up any decent blocks.
Do they just put the circle there because the position sets his feet there and has his initial read from the backfield, but moves 95% of the time?

"Tre Boston" and "excellent tackler" should never be in the same sentence. Dude grabs guys by shoulder pads and tries to wrestle them down. Tackles way to high to be considered excellent in any way, shape, or form.
