Man...the N&O really hates us
It is beyond obvious that the N&O hates UNC. First, they have the worst beat writer on their staff covering the Heels. The guy is just an awful newspaper reporter. Second, he/they write few articles about the Heels unless it is something about the scandal. On a typical say you will see 2 articles about State and dook and maybe one UNC focused article unrelated to the "scandal"
It is just awful how badly our athletes are portrayed by those folks.

No, they really love who their last few miserable subscribers are, and they are not in Chapel Hill...Also, the same situation with Dave Glenn's newspaper...

Seriously, I would tell any UNC alums you know that have any pull related to their company's advertising to STOP any ads they are paying for in the N&O. That is still where the paper make most of their money. Their vendetta against UNC should have been put to bed after Martin's report. The emperor has no clothes...

Seriously, I don't want to drive any web hits to them but it is laughable about how much they are trashing UNC. I am a big fan of Cunningham but I am disappointed that he gave a one on one interview to Carter about the Strategic Plan. Carter just turned around and tried to make him look stupid.....I thought Bubba would know better.

I hope Bubba knows now. UNC should restrict the n&o from press conferences and allow them occasional press access to Tar Heel games.

I started the Blake post because I wanted to remember what he was accused of doing wrong. IIRC, he was accused of steering players to Wichard but, if was in fact trying to do that, he was the worst runner ever.
Basically, I am trying to get my mind around the truths of the scandal and the patently false things those like the N&O are spreading.

Actually the Durham Morning Herald has all the local sports that the N&O covers and sometimes have much more in-depth articles on UNC. Of course, you get the dOOK love from time to time. But its certainly no worse than the 3 full pages the N&O devoted to NCSU's win over dOOk Sunday.

It is one of the worst papers I've ever read, in terms of quality journalism. Much more fair, but consistent typos, grammatical errors, and only contains surface-level analysis

I cancelled my subscription to the N&O long ago. I have found that there are far better places for news, weather, and especially....sports.
I have had a lot of success geting others to cancel based on the overall liberal slant of the rag.

Well then stop. They don't care what your subscription is used for...just that they can sell a paper to keep thier numbers up. The N&O advertisers don't know that you are not reading your garbage.

We've seen how low the N&O is willing to go with the attacks on UNC using half truths, innuendo and sensationalism. Does anyone really think they wouldn't attack someone else using the same methods.
Heck, they could go after any of us or our families or our businesses and would have no issue doing just that if they thought they might get to see their name in the lights. They're like some type of hit squad. The thing about that type of attack is that it can come back on them in much the same fashion.
The N&O is not a professionally run entity and have virtually no journalistic integrity. Drescher, Kane, Curliss and Riley are quite frankly bad people that deserve no respect. I wish nothing but bad things to befall each of them.
