Lawson (DT 2013) possible to Ole Miss...
UPDATE: Ole Miss is still in the hunt to land five-star defensive end and Auburn commit Carl Lawson (Alpharetta, Ga./Milton). Lawson appears to be interested in the Rebels due to one person, the nation's. No. 1 recruit Robert Nkemdiche (Loganville, Ga./Grayson).
"Nkemdiche is going to sign with Ole Miss, from what I understand, and Carl is taking a visit to Ole Miss," Milton coach Howie DeCristofaro told Michael Carvell of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "Can you imagine both of them on the same defensive line?"
The insinuation is that Lawson could follow Nkemdiche to Ole Miss and form dynamic bookends. Ole Miss shouldn't be underestimated in the pursuit of Lawson as a result.
---
UPDATE: Carl Lawson has yet to decommit from Auburn which could be a good sign for the Tigers. But Auburn isn't out of the woods yet.
"Carl Lawson is reevaluating Auburn, but Ole Miss, Tennessee and Clemson are making a big push. Officials will be important," ESPN.com's Kipp Adams tweeted.
Tennessee is the latest addition to Lawson's list of possibilities after the hire of Butch Jones. If Jones moves Tennessee back to a 4-3 front like he employed at Cincinnati, then the Volunteers will need immediate help at defensive end. The instant impact Lawson could make in Knoxville is likely appealing to the five-star defender.
---
Defensive end Carl Lawson is the crown jewel of Auburn's 2013 recruiting class -- if he remains committed to the Tigers. It may be only a matter of time before Auburn loses Lawson's commitment,
"Multiple sources are saying it's more 'when' than 'if'and that Clemson and Ole Miss are lurking," Mike Farrell of Rivals.com wrote. "However, a great defensive line hire by Auburn could change all of that."

No right board, we are looking at Lawson possibly visiting Jan 25, 2013. He's a target.

I'm not sure how my post count would give me any more creditability than not posting at all. I've seen NO SHOTS become SHOTS. This is a board where we all just converse. Not sure what your point was but I could look at your post as trying to get your count up. Enjoy the fellow shipping and information that's being given. Even if, the information does not benefit you. Have a wonderful and blessed day my fellow Tarheel.

Re: Lawson (DT 2013) possible to Ole Miss...
Gotta give it to Hugh Freeze. He's done a fantastic job in recruiting thus far. It used to be that Ole Miss couldn't get a whiff of these guys unless they were named Manning.

Re: Lawson (DT 2013) possible to Ole Miss...
The main reason Nkemdiche is considering Ole Miss is his older brother is there and his mom wants him there. If Ole Miss does get Nkemdiche then he will probably be as good of a recruiter if not better then Freeze is although I do think Freeze is doing a good job.

I don't think this should take away from what Freeze is accomplishing at Ole Miss. He reminds me of Fedora in the style of offense he runs and in his connection and enthusiasum shown towards his players and recruits.
What he did in one year in the SEC West (NFL-lite) is truely amazing. He's now going head to head in recruiting against the big boys.
