Just watched him botch the punt catch. I wonder what he's thinking about his college decision. I know he's in the National Championship but he hasn't played at all. I don't know how a top 10 recruit doesn't play at all his freshman year.

He just got leveled at the 3yd line after that on his return.

This post makes you sound small and petty.. Hes playing for the national championship game.. Doubt he laments anything right..

I wonder how Golson feels. He has to hand the ball off a lot and can't put up very good numbers. I bet he wishes he would have stayed committed to UNC

Just because the team is doing great doesn't mean he's happy. I merely was pointing out the fact that a star recruit hasn't had a chance to do anything. He has 1 reception for -5 yards on the season. Don't you think that on any other team he would be a stud freshman.

So what's your theory? Why is he not a stud on ND if he would be other places? It's not that uncommon for true freshman to not play much, even if they are stud recruits

Well look at the rest of the top recruits and I see a bunch of starters and already stars. I'm not trying to insult him or make fun of him, but I think it's interesting that ND has only gotten the speedster 1 reception.

I disagree there are more heralded freshman that come in and play maybe 10 to 15 snaps a game than come in and become an instant impact player some even redshirt. So to say that he wish he went somewhere else because his not having an big impact on a team that has 29 seniors is kind of far fetched to me.

Poor Neal. He could be on the sideline watching Gio return punts...

Well, maybe if he had gained more yards on his 1 reception, he would get more PT.

Exactly right. They're playing for a national championship, and UNC is on probation for the next 3 years. I think they're doing just fine.

Time for everyone to look forward and stop being hurt that recruits went elsewhere.
