Ridiculous. Those teams may suck compared to other NFL teams, but they are pro teams. They are men who practice and watch film for 60+ hours a week, who have years of experience, and years of physical conditioning.

Hell, the Chiefs had 4 or 5 pro bowlers.

I'm just saying it's a mythical title right now. Depends on how you are placed or voted on in the polls. It should be won on the feild by some kind of play-off. Since they can't have 65 or however many teams they have in the basketball tournament, go with the conference champs. Alabamaa would have beaten anyone last night, and I don"t think you are going to have alot of 3 and 4 loss teams winning out.I wish they could all be in the tournament, but aint gonna happen in football.If a team wins there conference and loses to the second place team in there conference for the championship, is that actually legit? I really don"t want to see the SEC and Big 12 with four teams each in the playoff......just my opinion ...you guys are intitled to yours...

I'm glad that rule doesn't apply in most (if not all) sports. The 2005 & 2009 UNC Tar Heel basketball team didn't officially win the ACC. Guess tarheelD would say we didn't 'deserve' to play for the title those years.

And what about Wild Card teams in the NFL...they shouldn't be in the playoffs? Pitt & Green Bay have won recent titles that way.
