Official BCS Championship Prediction/Discussion/Game Thead

Alabama will pound Notre Dame to death with the punishing run game (i.e. remember the run game used against Georgia)! SEC wins the National Championship for the 8th year in a row since 2006!

I like Alabama but would like to see Notre Dame win it. They are part of the ACC even though they aren't all in totally.

This may be the easiest win for the SEC in the streak. The media keeps trying to pump up Notre Dame but I think that is for ratings.

I think it stays close for 2 quarters. ND defence is for real (Louis Nix is a baller, he's the reason Teo can make all those plays) but in the end, not enough to go toe to toe. Bama 27 ND 13

With their offenses being pretty much equal statistically wise it will come down to who can make a play on ST's or score a defensive td.Teo is a very special player and IMO the best player on the field tonight.I think he scores a pick 6 and ND wins 17-14.

It would ONLY be their 7th. straight. This is still considered the 2012 season.
2006, 2008 -- Florida
2007 - LSU
2009, 2011 -- Alabama
2010 -- Auburn
2012 -- Alabama????
I like Alabama by a TD in a hard-fought defensive battle. 24-17.

Bama O-line just owned the "vaunted" ND D that was able to control Weak Florist, BC, Navy, Purdue and BYU.
This could get ugly unless Bama gets fumble itis.

I agree with that but because of their offense. I thought they would lose 24 to 10 or something. They haven't looked close to stopping bama. They can barely force a third down

If i'm ND......I'm looking for a conference to join.......this year was the ...uh...uh..luck of the Irish...so to speak. ... and we don't need them bringing the ACC down..
