Of course the N&O article focus on Ron Francis' nomination and mentions KB and Coach Gut as if they were afterthoughts.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I do not think Francis has anywhere the name recognition that Gut or KB have statewide or even in the N&O reading market.

Which is another reason why I was fine with hockey's strike. There is limited time/space for all the sports in this market and the Hurricanes take away from the focus on college sports.
